A VISIT TO THE FLOOD VICTIMS. & the story continues,
HELLOO everyone.
hope you guys are happy with your loved ones.loving their warmth??heehee :D
aniways,spend my weekend at my ohh-dear-grandma house at jalan kuching segamat.
depart on saturday,after maghrib.
and arrive back in sunny SINGAPORE yesterday around 6.30??
well,the days went well.except for the call we received from singapore on the day of departure.
we were at the woodlands checkpoint when my local grandma called my dad,crying on the phone as my maklong[[who lives in MUAR]]
was asked to moved as her house was badly flooded.she had to move to a school.
we were shocked.I was shocked.
((and i admit that i wasnt too comfortable on us going to KL when it was the monsoon season.flood season??
but my parents assure me that the highway to KL was wokaay.*phew*))
aniways,i was worried of my maklong too.knowing that she was very emo just like my grandma.but we cannot do anything except to doa..
so,the next day had visitings.and after the visitings,we finally had a chance to go shoppiing.and by then it was already,9.00pm???
so we had our dinner at manhattan's fish market.saw wirda's senior but i dont think he recognised me...
the fish and chips there was delicious.i snapped some pics.will upload it soon.
but before we actually tucked in to the food,my singapore grandma called again.she said that maklong had to move again from the school because the school itself has flooded.wth?
and she said theres A croc which escaped from an illegal farm.
she said there was 1 croc.
but,later news turn out there was 15 CROCS.
and it seems that the number of crocodile among the flood water is still increasing.
yesterday Malaysia newpaper states"28 BUAYA BERKELIARAN"
translation--28 crocs escaped
WTH??and they say there are more wild crocs which the authorities do not know of.hishh..
but my grandma asked us to vist my maklong there.but it was almost impossible as the highway towards muar was closed as it was flooded.
so,my paklong left the pusat pemindahan or the so called safe-place with my cuzzy to meet us at tangkak,nearest town to muar.
when i saw their state ,hatiku sebak.there goes their belongings.there goes their bike.there goes their furnitures.their PC.their tv.their clothes.their very-loved-about-15 cats and many others.
lucky they get to save their certificates,passports and car.
and their lives...
my parents gave them some clothes as they said they were sehelai sepinggangthey cried when my parents offered helped.
i wanted to cry too.really.i do.seeing the amount of lost they have.but i kept back my tears.
and i was told that the water level is still continueing increasing.
so when we reached singapore that was the hottest topic among my family.till now.
